RTTT Project SUCCESS required participating districts to create a vision for induction programs and qualified mentor training. Each plan is organized around seven “action” steps that focus on specific components that need to be addressed to ensure a successful plan is implemented.

The examples provided represent the district context, as well as the district goals and needs of novice teachers. Each plan’s vision includes a focus on educator evaluation alignment to ensure mentors are linking mentoring conversations to current Standards of Effective Teaching Practices.
