She chose to become a mentor because she loves working with new teachers. She enjoys learning from them, sharing ideas, and supporting them. Depending on the year and the school’s need, Tisha has alternated from being a mentor to 1st year teachers and 2nd year teachers, as well as a mentor to new mentors at her school. She is committed to finding a balance between family and school. She wants to be a model for new teachers so that they will see that they can do it, too!
